Death Forest uses tank controls. Kazuki moves forward and backward with the W and S keys respectively. The A and D keys are used to turn the player, with mouse movement being used to move his head up and down. It is not possible to strafe left and right.
Movement cannot be controlled in the air. The direction and speed Kazuki is moving while walking off of a ledge is stored and that movement will carry over while he is falling. For example, if Kazuki is moving north and falls off of a ledge he will continue to move north while falling, no matter what the player does.
Motorbike[]
Main article: Motorbike
The motorbike has even simpler controls than Kazuki. It moves forward automatically at a rate faster than the player. The bike starts slow and accelerates over time. It can be turned left and right with the A and D keys respectively.

- When mounting the motorbike, instructions to use the bike appear in the top left corner. The A and D keys are incorrectly referred to as "Akey and Dkey."
