Death Forest 5 is a movie based off the original game. It is the fifth and final movie in the Death Forest series. The runtime is 65 minutes. Actually 92 minutes. Some sites sell shorter versions of it and thus isn't as long. It was released on September 3, 2016.
The stalkers look not as scary as ever and instead have somewhat 'silly' looking faces, bringing back the strangers who killed a drunk man. It is said that it feels like a comedy in some scenes involving Yoshie, Yoshie looking lifeless and unrealistic. In some scenes, she is also shown to be poorly animated, sometimes her eyes not being animated at all.
Plot[]
People begin to see the creepy white face monster Yoshie in Shibuya. At first, Yui is unable to see Yoshie, but when her friend is attacked and killed by Yoshie, Yui looks into the eyes of Yoshie. Yoshie is saved by a man and led to a room in a building.
Meanwhile, writer Kazuki Uchida chases after Yoshie. The police begin to look for Kazuki as a key suspect in the disappearance of a group of people.
